NJ Independent College Presidents Testify at NJ Legislative Assembly Higher Ed Hearing

Jul 9, 2020

Four presidents from our member institutions testified at today’s NJ Legislative Assembly Higher Education Hearing this afternoon. Presidents from Centenary University, Rider University, Monmouth University, and Saint Elizabeth University advocated for their respective universities as well as the NJ Independent College sector as it relates to reopening amid the COVID-19 pandemic. They shared the progress that they’ve been making to plan for the return of students to campus on the fall, and also made a petition for what they felt were unmet needs by the state.

As always, we appreciate their advocacy and leadership.

The hearing can be found here.
