California Casualty Auto and Home Insurance supports The Independent Colleges for New Jersey Emergency Aid Fund

San Mateo, CA, July 13, 2020 – California Casualty collaborated with The Independent College Fund for New Jersey (ICFNJ) in April of 2014. The partnership consists of California Casualty extending its auto and home/renters insurance program to the faculty and staff of the 14 partner schools. Founded in 1914, California Casualty stands out with substantial savings, enhanced policy features and benefits, and exceptional service – with a 99% customer satisfaction rating.

California Casualty’s auto and home/renters insurance is an important addition to the benefits package(s) offered by the partner schools. Faculty and staff enjoy discounts not available to the general public. Policies also include:

  • $0 deductible if your vehicle is hit or vandalized while parked at on campus or a campus administrative office
  • Identity theft victim resolution at no additional cost
  • A one-year lock in rate, twice as long as other company rate guarantees
  • Convenient towing and roadside assistance
  • $1,000 auto pet injury coverage

California Casualty also offers personal liability umbrella, flood, and even pet insurance through a variety of partners.

California Casualty is a nationwide affinity insurance company that has been working with higher education professionals since 1951. Service to the community is a long-standing tenet at California Casualty, with substantial giving and service programs that accentuate their partner programs. These include the nonprofit dedicated to ending distracted teen driving, Impact Teen Drivers; Thomas R. Brown Athletics Grants to supplement middle and high school athletics programs in need; K-12 Music and Arts Awards, and monthly Help Your Classroom Grants to provide classroom materials for K-12 educators.

In 2019, Account Relations Manager, Alina Fayerman was added to the ICFNJ Board of Trustees in an effort to help support the organization in their missions to help students achieve a higher education with financial support.
