This year’s award will be presented to the Seattle Genetics Drug Discovery Team. The virtual award presentation will take place via Zoom on October 27th at 7pm. The seminar will discuss the research effort involved in the Seattle Genetics Drug Discovery team’s development of three marketed cancer drugs using antibody-drug conjugates, an achievement of great significance.

The Heroes in Drug Discovery Award is given to celebrate scientists who have made significant contributions to human healthcare. Through the award these individuals are celebrated and connected to the best and brightest science undergraduates whose passions, interests, and drive position them to be the next leaders in science research.
