For Breeyana Jivra ’22, exploration in college has sharpened her career goals. An international student, she chose Bloomfield College for its women’s soccer team, intending to focus on chiropractic medicine. Then, faculty mentors introduced her to other careers in medicine. Breeyana says, “The faculty at Bloomfield really care about their students and want to see all of us succeed. I’ve found oncology to be a route that interests me a lot. In the future, I’m hoping to be a pediatric oncologist and do research in that field.”
